Married with 2 grown up children and one grandson (recent addition!)
Head teacher for 6 years at Grafton Infants school. Seconded to LEA .2 to manage DRB (Designated Recommending body for Graduate Teacher Programme).
Previously Deputy at same school.
Have taught across phases FS – KS3 over last 25 years in both Sussex and Stoke.
Wide experience of lecturing in Art and latterly in Leadership and Management (to MSc level).

Chris Brislen - Belgrave C.E Primary School

Subject Specialisms: English / Literacy, EAL, RE & Leadership. BA degree from University of Wales, Masters Degree from Keele University -Education Leadership. Post Graduate Diploma in Primary Literacy and pilot NPQH Graduate 1999. Married with 2 children both still at school! Appointed Headteacher of Belgrave CE Primary School, a newly established, new build school in Stoke-on-Trent in January 2002. The school opened following the amalgamation of two local ethnically and culturally diverse schools in September 2002. Experienced Headteacher of two previous schools in Cheshire. Primary Strategy Consultant Leader, member of the city Ethnic Minority Achievement Management Group. Currently training as an OfSTED Inspector. Have taught across phases FS - KS4 and Sixth Form over last 25 years in Devon, Cheshire, Staffordshire and Stoke. Experience of lecturing in Primary Education and RE at PGCE level.
